Buster Keaton (October 4, 1895 – February 1, 1966), “The Great Stone Face”

A man famous for directing and acting in silent films, his deadpan expression, physical comedy, and, featured above, his stunt performance.  This man did all his own stunts, and they are amazing.

Buster Keaton produced some of the best cartoons ever, even if they were live-action. Do animators still study him the way they should?

Relics of Technology | Jim Golden | Via

"The seeds for the project started when I found a brick cell phone at a thrift store in rural Oregon. Since finding it, similar pieces of old technology and media kept grabbing my attention. One thing led to another and I was on the hunt for groups of media and key pieces of technology, most of which have now been downsized to fit in the palm of our hands. These photos are reminders that progress has a price and our efforts have an expiration date."

How I feel about valentines day

"I hope something happens. I’m restless as the devil and have a horror of getting fat or falling in love and growing domestic."
